There are quite a few potions and serums out there that promise you long hair. The question is...do we really need them? Healthy hair is growing hair after all, so what's the deal with all these potions. The answer to this question is simple. People want healthy hair, but how can you tell healthy hair? For us curlies, that can be a complex question. It's about moisture, but how much moisture is too much? To answer that question, it may be time for the naked checklist (naked hair that is).
The brand new blog for multi-ethnic curlies! If you're like me, then you're a bit of an oddity in the natural community. You don't have typical African-American curly/kinky hair , and you don't have Caucasian curly hair. In fact, you're not even sure what ethnicity you are on a good day. You search for the perfect curl regimen and for someone to share your pain. Hopefully, I am that curly, and I share your pain deeply. I've never really fit in anywhere ethnicity wise. Some people assume I'm South American, Sri Lankan, or Black a.k.a. African-American. I am none of the above. I'm a blend of Senegalese, Irish, Jamaican, Choctaw, and possibly Seminole with a dash of French. I am a curly melting pot, but I seem to have mostly Native American features in my curls. Ergo, a lot of sites tend to alienate me because they can't help me, and they only cater to certain ethnicities or certain ethnic blends. So if you're like me, then I started this blog with you in mind :)
